Alexander and Jordan
Year 1 Week 49-50
Alexander: We had the greatest party ever
this past weekend. My dad had a party for all of the people that he works
with and their families. We had about 40-50 people over to our house
including about 15 kids. It was really nice to play with all of them while
the grown-ups talked about boring things. I even got to stay up really
late until 11pm!! I just did not want to stop playing.
Something weird is going on around here. My mom and dad
keep bringing home bags with what look like toys in them but they do not let me
play with them. I am beginning to wonder if I have another brother
somewhere that they have not told me about. If so, he is getting a lot of
really cool things.
Jordan: I had to hear about the party from
Alexander. They knew that I would be bored, so my parents put me to bed
early in the evening. I heard that a lot of people were talking about me,
but I guess I will never get the benefit of all of the praise. I was in
bed.
I am doing much better with sitting up now. If I have
toys to play with, I can even sit and play quietly for up to an hour.
After that I start to wonder why I am alone and nobody is playing with me.
I just had my 6 month visit. I weight 20lb 2oz, and I
am 100%ile for weight and 95%ile for height. Pretty soon I will be bigger
than Alexander. The shots weren't so nice, but I heard that there are not
shots for the 9 month visit.
