Alexander and Jordan
Year 1 Week 47-48
Alexander: I got a lot of mommy-time this
past week. Our daycare is closed for two weeks, so we had to stay home
with mommy. We played piano, watched movies, read books and went to the
community center. She must not be sleeping well at night because she said
she was very tired. My three hour nap gave me lots of energy to run and
play.
This next week a bunch of other kids are coming over to my
house during the day for babysitting. My friend Lyuda from daycare is
coming over here to babysit us while mommy and daddy go to work. I will
get to show my friends all of my great toys. They can play with anything
but my Barney doll - he is off limits to anybody but me.
Jordan: Even though we could not visit our
grandparents for Thanksgiving, we still had a pretty good time. We went to
the McDonald's house on Thanksgiving day. We had a great dinner and I took
a nap while everybody else talked. Then on Saturday a whole bunch of
people came over to our house for another dinner. I was on my best
behavior and smiled a lot. Unfortunately I had to miss a lot of the party
because I had to go to bed. It seems like I miss a lot of things because I
am sleeping.
