Alexander and Jordan
Year 1 Week 40
Alexander: To follow up on my fun day at
the zoo, my dad bought me a farm play set. I can make the winn (horse),
moo (cow) and pitty (piggy) eat, drink and go night-night. It also has a
great tractor that I take with me everywhere. The best thing is to take it
outside and let it go all the way down the driveway into the road. It is
the best because I get to watch my mom and dad run after it so it does not get
I have realized the value of saying owwee when I hurt myself. I get a kiss no matter how small it is. If I say owwee and somebody else's name, then that means that they hurt me. I tried it out by saying, "owwee Jordan" when he hit a toy that then hit me. My parents did not buy it though. They said that Jordan is too small to hurt me. He gets away with everything.
Jordan: My parents jumped the gun a little bit and started to feed me cereal. They thought it might help me sleep a little bit better. The jury is still out on the sleep, but I liked the cereal so much that they have continued to give it to me. Other than not sleeping, they keep saying how I am a much better behaved baby than Alexander was. For example, today I sat in my chair outside while they raked leaves. I amused myself for 30 minutes without a single cry. I wanted to go to bed which I easily did. Alexander could not go 3 minutes without crying.
