Year 1 Week 4-6
I just had to end a wonderful
2 weeks with my Nana. She was with me almost constantly for that whole
time, and now I will not get to see her until August. It just does not
seem fair. We had a good time together. We played with my toys (that
I can now put in the new toy box that she bought me), we went for walks, we went
to the store, we read, we danced, we sang and we ate. She taught me how to
saw "Nana" and how to give kisses. She spoiled me rotten during the 4 days
that my mom and dad were in Jamaica
(click to see pictures) by buying me new toys and letting me have sweets.
As you can see in the pictures we had a lot of fun.
My mom and dad will miss her too. She helped start them
on their renovation of the family room. She gave my dad some pointers on
how to remove a door, put up wall studs, hang drywall and prepare it for
painting. You will have to see the final renovation pictures to see if you
think he did a good job. Nana also helped pick out the paint colors.
The walls are going to be Dried Thyme (a warm green color) and Crisp Cracker (a
light beige). We will take lots of pictures once the painting is all done
and the floor tile is finished.
I have had a little bit of a fever and a cold for the last
few days, so I have not been eating or sleeping very well. Hopefully I can
get over it soon because it hard to sleep when I can't breathe through my nose.
This update is so late because my dad had to install a new
hard drive and fix a lot of missing files. Plus we have all been working
very hard on fixing up the family room before the tile guy comes this week.
