Alexander and Jordan
Year 1 Week 33
Alexander: My dad wants to say sorry that
this is so late. I can vouch for him. He has been working very hard
this week. He leaves right after I get up and comes home hours after I go
to bed. I miss him terribly, but we have a nice long weekend coming up for
playing.
We have had to stop with the potty training for a little bit.
I really do not like it. I start to cry and whine and carry on when I have
to sit on the potty. Now I will not sit on it. Everybody thinks it
is time to give it a break.
On the other hand, I am learning new words everyday. We
have lots of pictures books and we play lots of naming games. I am getting
pretty good at it. The other big news is that I now sleep in the big boy
bed. I climb into bed all by myself. I can get out all by myself.
I can open my bedroom door and my parent's bedroom door all by myself. And
I can yell, "Mommy" and "Daddy" at the top of my lungs at 5am while standing
right next to their bed all by myself.
Jordan: We have all had a cold this week
(except for my dad). They did not tell me that if I get a cold that they
shove this blue bulb thing up my nose all day and night. I am never
getting another cold for as long as I live.
I am really getting this smile thing down. If I smile,
my parents will continue to make silly faces all day long. They think it
is fun to make me smile. I think it is fun to make they look so silly, so
I just keep smiling. Now who's the smart one?
