Alexander and Jordan
Year 1 Week 29
Alexander: The biggest challenge of the
week for me is to figure out what my parents are talking about with this potty
training thing. They keep saying to me, "Do you have to go pee?" I
usually just tell them no and wait until after I go. Why do they have to keep asking?
I will let them know when I have gone. Although, they went crazy when I
went the big boy way
on the big potty. My dad helped. I had to stand on something, but I
did it.
We have been going for big walks this weekend. I think
it is to wear me out. I don't care because that means that I get to go
outside. We went for a walk to a big lake and over a bridge. Then we
went for another walk through a bunch of trees (they called it an arboretum) to
a waterfall. My dad showed me how to put my hands in the rushing water and
how not to fall in.
Jordan: This has been a big week for me.
I have figured out how to smile. I can never seem to hold it long
enough for a picture. I have also found my hand to suck on. It is
not as good as the pacifier but it works in a pinch.
Alexander is showing me how to lie down on the playmat and
how to bounce in the vibrating chair. The biggest trouble is trying to
keep him off of my stuff. He is constantly sitting in my chair and
climbing on my swinging chair. At least he doesn't eat my food.
