Alexander and Jordan
Year 1 Week 26
Alexander: Now that Grandma and Grandpa Branzburg are here for 10 days I have somebody else to play ball with. When my dad gets tired of continually throwing the ball up in the air, I can always count on my grandparents to help out. In fact for my 18 month birthday they got me three new big beach balls! (Since the grandparents were here I decided to hit them up for presents by throwing myself a 18 month birthday party.) They took me to the toy aisle to pick out anything that I wanted, and they listened well. For my birthday we got to sing my second favorite song - Happy Birthday (my favorite is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star). All the words I know are "to you" but I know how to blow out the candles and then clap. We have lots of birthday parties at daycare, so I have had a lot of practice.
Jordan: I decided that I was not going to cry as much as Alexander did. I found out that they still love me and hold me just as much, so it is still good. I still can't do too much. I sleep, cry, poop and eat (in descending order of frequency). I am getting pretty good at holding my head up though. I can hardly believe that I have already been out in the real world for 3 weeks. Time goes by so fast when you are 3 weeks old.
