Year 1 Week 20
I am getting really anxious to
meet my new brother. My mommy's tummy is getting so big that he must be
coming soon. Every time I see a baby I remind my parents by saying "baby".
I see them on my Cheerios box, on my Baby Einstein DVDs, at the park,
everywhere! Pretty soon I will have one of my own.
On Saturday we bought a big boy bed from one of my friends at day care. She doesn't like it, but I thought it was just great. We thought that it would be fun to practice. It is cool that I can get out of bed when they put me down for a nap. No longer am I stuck in the crib. I think I pushed my luck though by getting out of bed because they put me back into the crib instead of my new bed. Maybe we will try later.
This past weekend my dad put up the moulding around our new room. It looks really good. He spent a lot of time staining, polyurethaning, cutting, and installing the moulding but it really made a huge difference. We also went and bought a new loveseat, chair, coffee table and mantle clock (which will be our gift from nanny) and a futon for the piano room. Some of them had to be custom made, so we will not get them until the end of June. Finally we will be able to use our room as a family room.
