Year 1 Week 19
This week was pretty exciting.
We had a visitor for the weekend named Larissa. She had gone to the same
school that my mom went to as a little girl in Russia and is the one who got
married when me and mommy went to New York last September. She was really
nice and spent time playing with me. Since she hadn't seen the first three
Star Wars movies, but had seen the most recent one, we watched all three movies
this weekend. It was very cool. Now, instead of a doctor, I want to
be a Jedi Knight when I grow up (sorry dad).
We also had a bunch of visitors from Wednesday to Saturday.
They were here to put in our new tile floor with the electric heating mat.
The electric pad arrived Tuesday, so me and dad tested out the fit on the floor.
Wednesday they attached the mat to the floor. Thursday the electricians
came and hooked up the mat and the tile guys started putting down the tile.
It was all done by Saturday. All day Sunday my dad wired the room for
surround sound and cable. We also went an bought a sleeper couch for the
room. I can hardly wait to play down there and use it like a real family
room. Take a look at some
pictures.
I have learned a bunch more words. I now say "baby"
when ever I see one or a picture of one. I say "nummy" when I want to eat
something. I saw "ow" when I get hurt. I also saw "ball" and "bath".
I am working on "New York Yankees" but it still sounds like "Minnesota Twins".
I guess the Minnesota blood is too strong - kind of like the Force...
Because of all of the activity, we did not take as many
pictures of me.
