Alexander Week 47
November 27-December 3, 2004
Well as you all know, I have
started walking. Now that I know what to do, I do not want to stop.
I am all over the house. More and more I choose to walk rather than crawl.
Of course, I have to put my arms over my head to keep my balance, but I am
getting that too. Next step is for me to start talking. Crying for
everything I want is not cutting it anymore.
We had an exciting Thanksgiving. We went over to my dad's friend's house. A bunch of his friends were there for Thanksgiving. I really liked the sweet potatoes and the turkey. And the dessert. The next day we had a Thanksgiving with just our family at home. Mom made a turkey and we had that and leftovers from the night before.
Saturday we had a lot of people over to our house. My dad made his special hot Buffalo chicken wings on the grill. There were 12 of us and we (they) ate almost 20lbs of chicken wings. My dad spent almost 2 hours making them all on the grill, but they tasted great (or so they told me). They made me go to bed before everybody came. I get tired around 7pm anyways, so I was not too upset.
|1. 2. 3.||1. Dad said that I could
help him best if I sat right here.
2. Is my underwear showing?
3. I think the nurse did it like this...
|4. 5. 6.||4. I kind of like my
nebulizer. If my dad sings "The Ants Go Marching", then I sit quietly
through the whole treatment.
5. I am handsome aren't I?
6. Come back here pacifier.
|7. 8. 9.||7-8. They always put the good stuff just out of my reach. Maybe if
I stand on my tiptoes...
9. I am really good at getting on and off my car now and can push it all over the house. I especially like to race towards my mom and dad's legs and smash into them.
|10. 11. 12.||10-12. I am starved. Why are they keeping my mom's yummy borscht just out of my reach?|
|13. 14. 15.||13-15. I did not quite know what I was getting into when my dad asked if I wanted a tummy zerbert. I thought he said sherbert. Let me tell you. They are not the same.|
|16.||16. This is our Thanksgiving Day group.|
