Alexander Week 40
October 9-15, 2004

I learned how to crawl up stairs this week.  My parents were cautiously excited.  They still have that gate on the stairs though.  I guess they do not trust me that much.
I had my 9-month doctor appointment on the 14th.  I now weigh 23lbs and am 30in long.  That still puts me at the 95th percentile for weight and 90thfor height.  I am wearing 18 month clothing.  It is nice to get so much new clothing.  It seems like they are always buying me something new because I grow out of it so quickly.
My dad found out this week that he passed his Internal Medicine Boards.  Now he knows that all of that studying he did over the summer really paid off.  That also means that he has 10 more years before he has to take it again.
We had the last week of good weather for awhile I think.  We took a couple of good walks while it was so nice and sunny.  The fall colors are really amazing.  Check out the house webpage for some pictures.  We went for a walk through some of the parks and the through the Maple Grove Arboretum which are just down the road.  I love to go for walks.  I really like to play in the leaves too.  My dad spent two days raking all of the leaves in our lawn into big piles.  Two of the piles went into giant pumpkin bags.  The others were for me to jump in.

1. 2. 3. 1.  They took away my block to take the picture, and they didn't think I was going to cry!
2.  That's better.
3.  Daddy and I went for a walk.
4. 5. 6. 4-6.  If they only gave me my Cheerios I would not have to resort to such extremes.  A baby's got to do what a baby's got to do.
7. 8. 9. 7-9.  Mommy and I had such a good time crawling through the leaves in the park.
10. 11. 12. 10.  First I adjust the seat...
11.  and then I find my page,...
12.  and now I am ready to play.
13. 14. 15. 13-15.  We found a nice waterfall down the road at the Arboretum, so we decided to just relax for a little bit.
16. 17. 16.  Me and daddy brush our teeth together everyday.  I even have my own toothbrush.
17.  How you doin?  Want to go for a ride?
