Alexander Week 38
September 25-October 1, 2004

I had a great week!  I love my new room, and to show my appreciation for all the hard work my parents put into it I slept one night from 7:30 pm to 6:30 am the next day.  I did wake up once that night, but I had so much fun just looking around and talking to my pacifier that I did not cry at all and fell asleep all by myself!  My mom and dad did not sleep through the night though because they were worried about how much I was sleeping.
I get to know more and more of my daytime babysitters.  On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I play with Brooke, Ashley and Bridget while my mom is teaching.  The girls are really fun, but I do miss my mommy, and cry every time I get a glimpse of her in between her lessons.
A few developmental things.  I can take a few steps when someone is holding me by one hand.  And I can talk!  I say "ma-ma" , "da-da", "ta-ta", "dai-dai" (which means "give me" in Russian), and of course my favorite "ba".  I also make car noises and blow raspberries (very juicy ones).  And it is not really what I say, but rather how I say it.  I am very loud.  My folks think it is very funny.  The other people in the hotel this weekend didn't think so - especially at 5:30 in the morning.

1. 2. 3. 1. Fun is a barrel of monkeys...
2. ...in my mouth.
3. The best part of my books are that they are edible.
4. 5. 6. 4-6. I love Cheerios.  Sometimes I miss my mouth though.
7. 8. 9. 7-9. Just like my dad I stick my tongue out when I am hard at work.  We know we look silly, but we are proud of our connection.
10. 11. 12. 10-12. I helped a little.  Mostly though I was kind of a pest.  More than once they were able to grab me just before I got my hand in the paint.
13. 14. 15. 13. Happy guy after bath.
14. Taking a break from pulling on the window crank.
15. When is my dad going to get home?
