Alexander Week 25
June 26 - July 2, 2004

This was the week we started our big trip out East.  I had no idea what I was in for, but I knew that by the end of the trip I would have met all of my grandparents except the ones who live in California.  It also meant that I would a lot more plane rides.  I did pretty good on the previous trips even though I was a little scared.
I got to meet my dad's best friend Paul Baker.  Him and his wife Sherri have a little baby Adam.  I was not very happy about this.  He is only 11 weeks old and therefore younger than me.  I have always been the youngest.  Mom and dad kept wanting to hold him and not me.  What am I, pureed liver?
Not much new in the development area.  I keep teasing that I am going to crawl, but for now I just end up accidentally inching my way along.  I make a lot of babbling noises.  My favorite is "Na".  It does not have any meaning, I just like the way it sounds.  I also have two teeth.  They are just long enough to bite fingers and other things that end up in my mouth (sorry mommy, I sometimes slip).

1. 2. 3. 1. Pleassseee.  Can I read just one more book before bed? (I have finished "War and Peace" and I am trying to get through "The Little Engine That Could".)
2-3. Now that I can stand, I am that much closer to my master plan to make my parents lives as complicated as I can.
4. 5. 6. 4. It is a good thing that Aunt Melissa has a sense of style (Old Navy).  Otherwise I would always be dressed in the dorky clothes that my mom and dad pick out.
5. And to think I have been using a straight razor all this time.  Electric is so much easier.
6. See I can sit by myself.  Mostly.
7. 8. 7. I love my mommy.
8. This is so you think that I was good the whole plane ride.
9. 9. This is the same pacifier.  The one on the left is when I am almost 6 months old.  The one on the right is when I am 3 days old.
10. 11. 12. 10. Why is my mom being friendly to that other baby?
11. Just a little bit more...
12. Us and that other baby (Adam Baker).
