Alexander and Jordan
September - November, 2008
Alexander and Jordan:
Did our parents tell you that they decided to ditch us in September? They
went on a cruise. Don't tell them, but we never wanted to go with them
anyways. We were more excited about spending time with Nana and Grandpa
McQueen. We had a blast without our parents, but if you tell them
that they might get sad. We had a good time fishing, doing crafts, baking,
picking apples and dressing up as superheroes. We especially liked "Ironman
Day" where we got a new Ironman movie to watch.
Since we last wrote, he have had Halloween. Obviously it did not matter much to us to have a day to dress up because we do that all of the time anyways. The nice thing is that we had 3 costumes each to choose from. Alexander was a Power Ranger and Jordan was Wolverine but we could have just as easily been Superman or Batman and Incredible Hulk or Robin.
This past Thanksgiving we spent it again with our friends the McDonalds. This will be the fourth year that we have had Thanksgiving together which is always fun.
We are really getting excited about Christmas. We are really looking forward to getting lots of toys, which for some reason is making mommy and daddy a little worried. So, they brought us to a store and had us find toys that other little boys and girls might like. They tried to explain it to us, that some little boys and girls don't have anything to play with, but we had a hard time figuring out what they meant (doesn't everybody have lots of toys?). Then, after they bought the toys, they made us put them in a box to give them away! Now, they want us to go home and figure out what toys we no longer play with to give away. What is going on?! Well, maybe someday we will figure it out.

1-2. This was our special dance class costume party. You should see the videos of our dancing. We do a pretty scary Monster Mass. |

3-5. Yet another excuse to get to wear our costumes - the Boo Bash. It was a lot of walking but it was worth it when we got to the inflatables. |

|
6-8. We have read the Gingerbread Man book so many times, that we thought it was time for us to finally make our own Gingerbread. Our rule during the decorating, was one for the house, two for me, one for the house... |

9-11. We almost convinced mommy and daddy to let us move into our new fort full time, but they did not like the idea of having no room in our living room. |

12-14. As always, when our friends the McDonalds gave over for Thanksgiving, we had a good time. Of course, no get together is complete without a Barrel of Monkeys and an appearance from Batman. |

15-16. When mommy and daddy leave
the room for a little while we come up with games to play. Some they
don't like, such as "hitting each other until somebody cries". Others,
they do, such as "somersaulting". 17. You can't tell but I am listening intently at the Children's Orchestra. |

18. Our friends from North
Carolina came to visit us Thanksgiving Weekend. 19. Mommy finally gets to play with the little girl that she always wanted. |

20. Now I will have the box I
need to store all of the "treasures" that I pick up off of the ground. 21-22. The eternal artists. |
