Alexander and Jordan

Alexander and Jordan:

Well we had another ho-hum Christmas. We hardly got any presents and we just sat around and did nothing all day. Just kidding!!

Everybody went crazy with the presents. Even Santa. We know he came because the some of the cookies were eaten and there were reindeer bites taken out of the carrot! We were so excited about Christmas that we got up at 3:30am to start opening them. Mommy and daddy were so glad that we woke them up early so they could get started too. Although they did not have as many presents and we did, then wanted to get an early start. They said that 2.5 hours of sleep was more than enough.

As you can see from the pictures below, we got lots of cool things. There was a superhero theme to the day. We got knight costumes from Grandma and Grandpa Branzburg, lightsabers and Star Wars costumes from Nana and Grandpa, and Batman, Robin and Superman stuff from Batman and Robin themselves. We are not sure how they knew where to find us but it must be because they keep track of their biggest fans. Bat Grandpa even send a picture of him in his crime fighting costume.

Baba Nadia and Dede Eddig also came for a visit before Christmas. They brought us lots of presents including the knight costumes and pirate costumes. Mommy and daddy are getting used to us having swords and other weapons of destruction as show them that we can use them without hurting each other. Although they could only stay for a little while it was really good to see them.

After we opened all of our presents we went sledding on the hill at the local school. To finish the weekend we went to the Science Museum and took pictures of dinosaurs with our new cameras (we have to learn how to see them on the computer).

1. 2. 3.	1-3. We went to a holiday party for daddy's work and played with lots of other little boys. That is where we got the idea to ask for knight costumes for Christmas.
4. 5. 6.	4-5. These are Alexander's pictures of things that are important to him - candy canes, his animals and Robin. 6. Playing can be really hard.
7. 8.	7. Jordan is doing is best drummer boy impression while Alexander is coloring a picture for Baba Nadia. 8. Jordan and daddy are soaking their feet to make them nice and soft to get rid of the dead skin.
9. 10.	9-10. We are spy knights getting ready for battle.
11. 12. 13.	11. Santa and his reindeer must have been hungry. They ate the carrot, ate 2.5 cookies and drank the milk. 12. Stockings first. 13. The fact we are sorting the presents gives you the impression that we know who they belong too. We didn't. We just put them in piles and opened whosever presents we wanted to.
14. 15. 16.	14. Uncle Andy and Aunt Sarah gave us a Spiderman house. 15. This is the toy that Batman and Robin gave us. 16. Even Stormtroopers need to take a rest from opening presents.
17. 18. 19.	17-19. Warriors ready for battle.
20. 21. 22.	20. We took a breakfast break after opening presents for 2 hours which in our case meant it was 6am. 21. The post-present destruction. 22. A new Christmas ornament.
23. 24. 25.	23. The balloons make some funny noises after we let them go. 24. Mommy and Daddy gave us treasure boxes with lots of treasures in them. 25. Bat Kitty needed to take a drink.
26. 27. 28.	26-28. A little post-Christmas sledding fun.
29. 30. 31.	29-30. Don't give our position away! We are spying with our night vision goggles. 31. These capes will help us to fly off of the bed. Just watch.
32. 33. 34.	32-34. Time to learn a little science at the science museum. We don't fully understand but we learned about pendulums and air pressure.
35. 36.	35. Stegosaurus, hold still while I try to take your picture. 36. Man the torpedoes. Here comes an alligator.
37. 38. 39.	37. The fascination of boys with a new toy. 38. Making the scenery for our puppet show. 39. Now that we have our video games, let the ignoring of our parents begin.
