Alexander and Jordan

March 7 - April 7, 2007

Alexander:  We have had some fun over the last month.
    Mommy and Daddy had a gift certificate that was going to expire so we stayed at a water park hotel on a Monday night.  Daddy came home from work and we went right to the hotel.  He then left for work the next day from there.  We went swimming three time and even though we were too scared of the slides to go down them, we did have a good time splashing in the water and sitting in the warm pools.
    We have been doing a good job with our painting and coloring.  We got the new Cars coloring book and have been creating great Disney masterpieces every since.  Jordan usually makes a big mess when he paints.  I make a little one.
    Mommy had to take a trip to Toronto for her work, so we stayed home with Daddy.  He was very strict with us while she was gone - we never got candy, he never took us shopping for toys and we never got to eat in front of the TV.  At least that is what he told me to tell mommy...

Jordan: I can hardly wait for the weather to get nicer so I can go outside and play baseball and basketball.  Alexander has been showing me how to catch with the glove and how to hold the bat, but I am not allowed to swing it in the house (although I do when I think my parents are not looking).  I have also been practicing my running and jumping so that I am already for when I get to go to the park.
    My new favorite phrase is "because I need to."  It is a great way to respond when my mom and dad ask why I want candy or why I want to go outside.  It covers all of my bases and sometimes fools them into doing what I want them to do.
  
 

1. 2. 3. 1. This is our ritual post-bath snuggle time with mommy.
2-3. We took turns giving each other a manicure [with nonfunctional clippers].
4. 5. 6. 4. I bet Picasso started off at his dining room table too.
5. While mommy was away, Daddy and I decided to make pizza.  Regardless of how it looks, it actually tasted very good.
6. I did this all by myself except for one piece which my dad helped with [really].
7. 8. 9. 7-8.  We are taking turns reading our Barney book.
9. Everytime we look like we are sharing my mom and dad take a picture.  This is the second picture.
10. 11. 12. 10-11. Even Playdough cowboys have to relax.
12. I am learning about money and saving it in my piggy bank.
13. 14. 15. 13. My parents thought I was just playing drums on the table.  I thought I would make it a little more interesting.
14. Daddy I nnneeeddd more candy.
15. Mission accomplished.  The hotel room is totally trashed.
