Alexander and Jordan

January 1 - 13, 2007

Alexander:  Where to start...  We had a wonderful New Year's Eve.  Our friends came over to play on New Year's Eve and then spent the night at our house.  The next day we had a great time sledding at the nearby school.  I had to be dragged home.
    For my Birthday we stayed home and had a small party with our family.  On my dad's birthday our friends came over and had a small party.  Of course I also had a big party at day care.
    I have some good news about my potty training.  For the last week I have been going to bed with no diaper, and I have been dry!  I have not had any accidents for about 2 weeks.

Jordan: My mom and dad, especially my dad, have been very busy with the kitchen lately.  As a result, we now have a cool floor to play with our cars on.
    All of you that have not seen me in a while will be surprised when you hear me talk.  I am doing very well with how much I say.  I still mess up some words.  For example, I call Alexander "Awa" and slur the "s" at the end of "Thomas" (my favorite tank engine).  I know my colors and my body parts and do a pretty good at painting.  Because I am modest like my mom, I am reluctant to tell you how wonderful and talented I am.
 

House Renovation
 

1. 2. 3. 1. On New Year's Eve we got a chance to watch the movie "Cars" with our friends.  This may be the longest we have stayed in one place as a group for more than 3 minutes.
2-3. Here is our first time sledding.
4. 5. 6. 4. Alexander loved sledding.  I cried the entire time I went down the hill.
5. After sledding we had a special treat at McDonalds.
6. I was wiped out from the exertion of crying the entire time we were sledding.
7. 8. 9. 7. The Vacuum Band makes it debut.  Maybe we should clean them next time...
8. I love my blankie.  It is so warm.
9. My horsie is almost as big as I am.
10. 11. 12. 10.  I have named him Meter or Peter depending on my mood - they rhyme and I like them both.
11. We played so hard that I just passed out on the floor.  A die hard to the end, I am a car from the movie "Cars" as I fall asleep.
12. Uncle Mark came to visit us for four days.  We had never met him before, but we had a great time playing with him.
