Alexander and Jordan
August 1 - September 19, 2007
Alexander: We had our first try at camping.
We went with our friends to a great campground with a pool, petting zoo, and
miniature golf. We slept in a tent and had a campfire with marshmallows.
We ate all of our food at a picnic table. We had practiced in our friend's
backyard before going. Since that went so well, we convinced our dad that
we were ready to go camping for real. He was even talking about letting us
go a lot more times next year.
We are helping daddy with some of the fixing in the house.
Right now we need to fix the foyer. Daddy did the hard work of chipping
off the tile while we got to sweep up the mess. Next is the painting.
Jordan: Nana, Grandpa, Uncle Cory and Tara came to visit us. They told me
in private they were here mostly to see me and that they had to pretend to enjoy
visiting with the other family members. They took us to the zoo and we saw
monkeys, bears and the dolphins. This time the dolphins did not jump in
the air like they have in the past, but it was still fun to watch them.
I am mostly potty trained now. I still have to wear a
diaper at night but most of the time I am able to tell mommy and daddy when I
have to go potty. Sometimes, I even get to wear real underwear.
