Alexander and Jordan
September 24 - October 12, 2006
Alexander: I am working hard with my speech
therapist, Libby, on my stuttering. I am learning the difference between
slow and fast and smooth and bumpy, and I am trying to speak smooth and slow.
It is taking a lot of work, but I am making progress.
Last weekend we went over to Kyle and Ethan's house and
helped them paint their fence. The grown-ups got to do the painting, even
though I REALLY wanted to, while us kids got to play in the back yard. We
got to eat their dad's great pancakes for breakfast and then have fun shaped
sandwiches for lunch.
Jordan: I am constantly surprising my parents as
to how much I can say. I have added cracker, socks ("oss"), Elmo, and
banana to my repertoire. I can also almost sing Old MacDonald.
Everytime I see a cow I start to sing it. See the
Video.
I am also more grown up. I can go down the stairs
standing up - with a little help. I do not need a high chair anymore (at
least I will not sit in it). I am starting to fight back when Alexander
beats me up.
