Alexander and Jordan

June 19 - July 8, 2006

Alexander: It has been such a long time since my dad has updated our website and he wanted me to tell you that he apologizes.  Because mommy has been gone a lot for her piano competition, daddy has been very busy.  Then, when he was finally able to update it, his computer crashed and it took a long time to get it going again.  Enough of that...
Grandma and Grandpa Branzburg were here for the last week.  They were here to help daddy while he was working in the hospital and to keep us company while mommy spent a lot of time working for the competition.  They spent everyday with us - fed us, took us to the park, played baseball incessantly and spoiled us silly.  It was a lot of fun to have them visit, and we were very sorry to see them go.
This past weekend we celebrated the birthday of our friends Kyle and Ethan.  They turned 3yrs old and had a big party at their house.  The coolest part was the castle that they rented.  It was a giant two story moonwalk with a slide.  We ate lots of food, including some cake of course, and ran until we almost collapsed.

Jordan: I am walking!!  I started the week last week taking 2-3 steps at a time and ended the week taking up to 8 or 10 steps before I fell down.  Watch out now because I am very mobile and I have no sense of fear.
I spend a lot of time especially with Grandpa while he was here.  Everyday he would take me to the park to play.  It was our special time together.  He would spend time with Alexander playing baseball, so I got to go to the park.

1. 2. 3. 1. Out for a stroll.
2. Sometimes I need to take a break and ride.
3. This is the smile I use to stun the girls.
4. 5. 6. 4. This is our 10 seconds of family reading time.  Jordan will only sit still for that long.
5. Some quality reading time with Grandma Branzburg.
6. It is a little warm, but we needed to try our new hats on to test them out.
7. 8. 9. 7-8. I am climbing the trees, "like a bird" as I call it.
9. Alexander Potter.
10. 11. 12. 10. If we had better outdoor toys (hint) we would like we were having more fun.
11. Walking with Grandpa.
12. Alexander says if I learn to put the balls on the tee for him, he might let me play.
13. 14. 15. 13-15. Okay, maybe the outdoor toy is not so bad.
16. 17. 18. 16. Shooting baskets at Chuck E Cheese.
17-18. Just think, mommy, in 14 years I will be driving a real car.
19. 20. 21. 19. This is a little below my abilities, but I had already done all of the other rides.
20. Grandpa's obviously a little more excited about the slide than I am.
21. There is no way I could be more excited about the slide.
22. 23. 24. 22-23. Take a look at this toy.  Mom, can we move in with Kyle and Ethan?
24. Two boys, two cakes, more for all of us.
