Alexander and Jordan
August 15 - September 7, 2006
Alexander: Mom and dad have largely been
ignoring us so that they can work on the kitchen. Well, ignoring is not
quite the right word. A better word would be -
working-hard-to-make-the-kitchen-look-better-while-also-spending-a-lot-of-quality-time-with-us.
I do have to say though that the kitchen cabinets do look good.
I have also been spending time with Ethan and Kyle when I
can. They came over last weekend for dinner. Their daddy was home
alone with them, and he was going crazy (my dad says the same thing about us,
hmmm...). So, he brought them over to play. At least then we can all
play and don't have to worry about them trying to talk "like adults".
I am still stuttering a lot when I talk, so I will be working
with a speech therapist through the school district. It is frustrating
when I can not say what I want to say.
Jordan: My biggest new trick is that I can do
bumpy-bump down the stairs. I sit down at the top and go down on my butt.
I don't know why they did not show me earlier. It is fun and so much
better than having to wait for them to help me get down the stairs.
I am a also quite a dancer. I especially like to dance
to the themes for all of my favorite shows - Bob the Builder, Barney, Little
Einsteins, etc. I am no Fred Astaire but I do a pretty good job at it.
