Alexander and Jordan
April 1-16, 2006
Alexander: I am very proud to say that I pooped
in the potty for the first time today (April 16). And I did it all by
myself without my mom and dad even knowing I was doing it! I had been
peeing in the potty all day all by myself already, so I decided to take it to
the next level. Let's just say it was a little messy, but the important
thing is that I did it.
The day before Easter we went over the Kyle and Ethan's house
and had an Easter Egg Hunt. I had never
been to one before, and I had a great time. Earlier that day we went to
the Como Zoo, and I thought that was going to be the best part of the day.
Little did I know that I was going to be seeing my buddies Kyle and Ethan.
We had a lot of fun hunting for eggs, playing catch, eating fajitas and watching
a movie. Plus, we got to stay up really late. That also meant that
we did not have time to color Easter eggs, so we did it the next morning.
That would have been a great holiday except mom had to cut my hair on Sunday.
I was hoping to grow a mullet, so it was pretty traumatic.
Jordan: I am getting really good at crawling
fast. You should see the video that they
took of me. I am really showing my stuff there.
I wanted to help color Easter eggs but I was trying to make a
big mess of it, so I was on floor sweep duty. That meant that I had to
resume my usual duty of finding every piece of lint and month-old cereal and
tasting it to see if it is edible. Since I do this as part of my regular
chores everyday it was not really that big of a deal.
We have been going to the park a lot because we have had such
good weather. I did not really get much of a chance to enjoy it last year
(I was only a little baby back then), so I did not realize how much fun it was
to swing and to eat dirt.
I also had a haircut on Sunday. Unlike Alexander, I
kind of liked it. I freaked my parents out a little that I did cry or
struggle and that I just sat there and was very cooperative. They were so
used to my wimpy brother that it took them off guard.
