Alexander and Jordan
April 1-16, 2006
Alexander: I am very proud to say that I pooped
in the potty for the first time today (April 16). And I did it all by
myself without my mom and dad even knowing I was doing it! I had been
peeing in the potty all day all by myself already, so I decided to take it to
the next level. Let's just say it was a little messy, but the important
thing is that I did it.
The day before Easter we went over the Kyle and Ethan's house and had an Easter Egg Hunt. I had never been to one before, and I had a great time. Earlier that day we went to the Como Zoo, and I thought that was going to be the best part of the day. Little did I know that I was going to be seeing my buddies Kyle and Ethan. We had a lot of fun hunting for eggs, playing catch, eating fajitas and watching a movie. Plus, we got to stay up really late. That also meant that we did not have time to color Easter eggs, so we did it the next morning. That would have been a great holiday except mom had to cut my hair on Sunday. I was hoping to grow a mullet, so it was pretty traumatic.
Jordan: I am getting really good at crawling
fast. You should see the video that they
took of me. I am really showing my stuff there.
I wanted to help color Easter eggs but I was trying to make a big mess of it, so I was on floor sweep duty. That meant that I had to resume my usual duty of finding every piece of lint and month-old cereal and tasting it to see if it is edible. Since I do this as part of my regular chores everyday it was not really that big of a deal.
We have been going to the park a lot because we have had such good weather. I did not really get much of a chance to enjoy it last year (I was only a little baby back then), so I did not realize how much fun it was to swing and to eat dirt.
I also had a haircut on Sunday. Unlike Alexander, I kind of liked it. I freaked my parents out a little that I did cry or struggle and that I just sat there and was very cooperative. They were so used to my wimpy brother that it took them off guard.
|1. 2. 3.||1. Every morning I have to have
my hat, my bear and a ball.
2. I know I am not allowed out here, but I still test my limits.
3. Look what I can do.
|4. 5.||4. Here we are. Just two
brothers eating our apples. (as long as they don't show the next picture of
me pushing Jordan over)
5. Ashley was so nice to spent the night, so mommy and daddy could go out on a date.

10. My first time in a swing all by myself.
11. Point me in the right direction; I am ready to dig.
|12. 13. 14.||12-13. This was the highlight of
the whole trip - we got to see the giraffe eating Cheerios [they were stuck
to the ball].
14. And I even got to ride a giraffe!
|15. 16. 17.||15-16. This is easier than I
thought it would be. I just have to run around and pick them up off of
the ground. Lazy Easter Bunny.
17. Mommy and I just decided to chill on the lawn while the others ran around.
|18. 19. 20.||18-20. I have built my own little army of colored eggs.|
|21. 22. 23.||21-24. Now for the good part - eating them. (What they don't show you is that I had to spit out the egg. I didn't know it was going to be so dry.)|
|24. 25. 26.||25. Double fisted drinker sitting
in my new chair at the table.
26. What do you think of my crew cut? Who would have thought that a #3 attachment (out of 8) would cut so close?
|27. 28. 29.||27-29. The best part of having a park so close to our house is that we can go there everyday.|
